Account Setup & Installation

Creating your OneMoreBrain account and downloading the desktop client.

Account Setup & Installation #

Before using the desktop client, you need the account credentials and Windows application provided to you.

1. Creating an Account #

  1. Navigate to the official OneMoreBrain website.
  2. Click on the Sign Up or Login button.
  3. Enter your email address and verify it.
  4. Once authenticated, you will be redirected to your personal Dashboard.

Your Dashboard is the central hub where you manage your credits, configure your web apps, and view your billing history.

2. Downloading the Desktop Client #

OneMoreBrain is distributed as a standalone Windows executable rather than a traditional installer.

  1. From your Dashboard, locate the Download button.
  2. Download the latest version of the OneMoreBrain client (.exe file) to your Windows 10 or 11 machine.
  3. Move the downloaded file to a convenient location (e.g., your Desktop or Documents folder).
  4. Note: OneMoreBrain does not require a traditional installation process. It runs as a portable executable to minimize its footprint on your system.

3. First Launch and Login #

  1. Double-click the downloaded OneMoreBrain executable.
  2. The OneMoreBrain control panel will appear. If the built-in browser is still starting, wait a few seconds for the panel to render.
  3. Click Login and enter the username and password supplied by your deployment.
  4. Click Sign In.
  5. The client authenticates with the server, loads the apps and feature access assigned to your account, and starts the session timer.

After a successful login, apps marked as default open automatically. Other apps appear in the sidebar as Closed until you open them.

What a Successful Login Shows #

  • The timer in the top bar shows the remaining session time.
  • The sidebar lists the apps returned for your account.
  • The active app is loaded inside the embedded browser area.
  • Feature controls such as opacity and typing delay are shown only when the account includes those features.

If the login request fails, the client keeps the login form open and displays the server or connection error. Empty username or password fields are rejected before a request is sent.

If the login window doesn't appear, ensure you haven't accidentally hidden the application. Press Ctrl + Shift + W to toggle the window's visibility.

You are now ready to start configuring your apps and purchasing credits for your sessions. Proceed to Credits & Billing.
