Browser Tabs
Interacting with your configured web apps inside the secure browser.
Browser Tabs #
The client displays configured web addresses inside built-in browser tabs powered by Microsoft Edge.
What Are Tabs? #
Every app you configure in your web dashboard (e.g., an AI chat tool, a search engine, or a custom URL) appears as a separate tab in your OneMoreBrain sidebar.
- These tabs use Microsoft Edge browser technology.
- The built-in browser keeps its cookies and browsing data separate from your regular browser. Developer tools, default context menus, and pop-up windows may be disabled.
Navigating Tabs #
You can switch between active tabs in two ways:
- Mouse: Simply click on the desired app icon/name in the left sidebar.
- Keyboard (Recommended):
- Press
Ctrl + Shift + Right Arrowto move to the Next Tab. - Press
Ctrl + Shift + Left Arrowto move to the Previous Tab.
- Press
Auto-Load and Sync #
- Tabs marked as default by your account are initialized when you log in.
- Other tabs are initialized when you click Open or select them for the first time.
- Use Sync Tabs to pull a changed app list from the account. Syncing preserves open tabs that still exist and removes apps no longer assigned to the account.
- Pop-up windows are blocked inside embedded tabs. Sites that require a new window may not complete that flow.
- The built-in browser keeps its own cookies and browsing data. A login cookie or session in your normal browser is not automatically shared with OneMoreBrain.
Safe Pasting inside Tabs #
When working inside a tab, standard interaction is available subject to the embedded browser restrictions. For text transfer to another application, the client provides Human Paste and Unicode Paste (Ctrl + Shift + P and Ctrl + Shift + V); neither guarantees that the target accepts posted messages.
