Auto-Typing & Pasting
Send clipboard text to another application.
Auto-Typing & Pasting #
When using OneMoreBrain alongside another desktop application, standard clipboard paste may not be accepted by the target. The client provides two text-transfer modes with different speed and targeting behavior.
To transfer clipboard text to another window, OneMoreBrain provides Human Paste and Unicode Paste modes. They send software-generated keyboard-style input, so some applications may reject it.
Human Paste (`Ctrl + Shift + P`) #
The Human Paste feature reads Unicode text from the Windows clipboard and sends it to the window you were using before pressing the shortcut in small keyboard-style steps. It does not guarantee that the target will accept the input.
- Ensure the text you want to transfer is loaded or copied.
- Click inside the text box of your target application (e.g., your exam window or code editor).
- Press
Ctrl + Shift + P. - OneMoreBrain sends text toward the previously focused target. The delay is randomized around the configured base value, so the result is slower than a normal clipboard paste.
Human Paste reads Unicode text from the Windows clipboard. It removes carriage returns, preserves line breaks, expands tab indentation to four spaces, and waits briefly for modifier keys to be released before typing. Keep the target text field focused until the operation finishes.
Aborting Human Paste (`Ctrl + Shift + F`) #
If you realize you are pasting the wrong text, press Ctrl + Shift + F. Human Paste stops after its current small typing step.
Instant Unicode Paste (`Ctrl + Shift + V`) #
For environments that block the standard Windows clipboard but do not monitor typing speed, you can use Unicode Paste.
- The client reads Unicode text from the clipboard and sends characters in small batches to the target window.
- Line breaks are sent as Enter key events. This mode is faster than Human Paste and does not use the target application's normal clipboard paste command.
Full Screen Paste (`Ctrl + Shift + X`) #
This hotkey captures your full desktop, places a bitmap copy on the Windows clipboard, and sends a JPEG version to the active built-in browser tab. It is intended for image-capable apps; it is not a text-paste command.
Access and Failure Cases #
The Human Paste controls are shown only when your account includes typing access. If the clipboard is empty, unreadable, or the target window has no usable focus, no text is inserted. Ctrl + Shift + F stops the operation after its current small step.
Always test the pasting modes in a benign environment (like a standard Notepad or Word document) before using them in a high-stakes scenario to ensure your speed settings and outputs are functioning correctly.
