Text Mode

Using the keyboard interception mode.

Text Mode #

Sometimes, having a full web browser window open—even a stealthy, transparent one—is too visually distracting or risky, especially if someone might glance at your physical monitor.

For these situations, OneMoreBrain includes Text Mode.

Toggling Text Mode (`Ctrl + Shift + Z`) #

Pressing Ctrl + Shift + Z turns Text Mode on or off. While it is enabled and another application has focus, system-wide keyboard handling sends supported keys to the active built-in browser tab. When signed out, it uses keystrokes to edit the username and password fields.

Returning to Normal Mode #

Press Ctrl + Shift + Z again to disable the keyboard-handling state. Pressing Esc outside the client also cancels the state. Clicking outside the client turns it off; clicking inside can turn it on.

lightbulb TIP

Text Mode does not render a separate text overlay, and opacity changes are independent of it.
